Coach Biography

Coach Andrea Kilbourne-Hill ‘98 is in her third season as Northwood School’s girls’ hockey coach. After graduating from Northwood, Andrea attended Princeton University where she captained the Tigers to their most victories in a single season. While at Princeton, Andrea was twice a finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Award which recognizes the most outstanding female college hockey player. Andrea has played on numerous junior and senior United States National teams. She was a member of the 2002 Olympic Team and won a silver medal in the 19th Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Andrea coached the Lake Placid High School girls’ hockey team for three years prior to coming to Northwood. In her final season, she was named Coach of the Year by the Upstate New York Girls Ice Hockey League. Andrea has earned a level four certificate in the USA Hockey coaching certification program, serves as a coordinator for New York Amateur Hockey Association and has evaluated at numerous USA Hockey district evaluations.
