BOSTON — Senior Jenelle Kohanchuk scored two goals to help lead No. 4 Boston University past Connecticut 5-1 on Saturday afternoon at Walter Brown Arena.With the win, top-seeded BU (24-5-3) advanced to the Hockey East semifinals to face either Providence or Vermont. Connecticut concluded its season with a 3-29-3 record.This is the sixth consecutive season that the Terriers have advanced to the Hockey East semifinals. They are now 8-3 all-time in the conference tournament and have won seven of their last eight tournament tilts. BU improved to 4-0 all-time in the Hockey East quarterfinals.Junior co-captain Marie-Philip Poulin scored her 50th career goal, becoming the fastest skater in program history to reach the 50-goal plateau.
